Abstract
The article is dedicated to the socio-cultural analysis of the modern British press which throws light on the main problems of the Christian Churches. It is widely accepted that the Church of England and the Catholic Church are in a state of flux. As a result various solutions are looked for to overcome the crisis.

Статья посвящена социолингвистическому анализу современной британской прессы, в которой освещаются основные проблемы христианских церквей. Многие представители общественности признают, что Англиканская и католическая церковь в Великобритании находятся в состоянии упадка. В связи с этим рассматриваются разнообразные пути преодоления этого кризиса.
