Abstract
The article touches upon the issue of the interrelationship of languages and cultures which is a burning question of the day. It is aimed a regarding the phenomenon “intercultural” learning and teaching. The author puts an emphasis on the importance of forming the intercultural competence which enables to interact successfully with the representatives of ethnic groups in the course of intercultural communication. The author dwells on the content of intercultural teaching and the ways of molding the intercultural world outlook.

Аннотация
В статье затронут актуальный вопрос взаимодействия языков и культур. Рассматривается вопрос интеркультурного обучения, целью которого является формирование интеркультурной компетенции, предоставляющей возможность продуктивного общения с представителями других культур. Автор подробно останавливается на содержании интеркультурного обучения и путях формирования интеркультурного мировидения студентов.
